IQRF Meet-up – Advancing Wireless Communication Technology

On November 27th, the IQRF Meet-up took place at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, providing an excellent opportunity to delve into modern solutions in wireless communication technology. The event was led by Sebastian Hopp, Sales Channel Director at IQRF Tech s.r.o., who delivered a thorough and practical presentation on the key aspects of IQRF technology. The workshops were hosted at the Laboratory of Wireless Systems and the Internet of Things.

The workshop program focused on three main areas:

  1. IQRF Technology – Participants learned the technological foundations, principles of operation, and the benefits of implementing IQRF in IoT (Internet of Things) systems.
  2. Implementation Opportunities – A broad spectrum of potential applications was discussed, ranging from smart buildings to industrial solutions and home device networks.
  3. Hardware Configuration – Practical tutorials were provided on configuring IQRF modules, allowing participants to fully understand the processes involved in implementing this technology.

The most essential part of the workshop was the hands-on segment, where each participant worked directly with IQRF modules. The exercises included designing networks of interconnected devices, which helped participants grasp the real-world potential of IQRF technology. This practical approach enabled attendees to apply their newly acquired knowledge to real-life scenarios.

The workshops were an extremely valuable experience, combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications. Thanks to the professionalism and dedication of the instructor, participants not only expanded their IoT competencies but also acquired skills that could be crucial for future research and development projects.
