There are moments when we realize that even a small gesture of help can make a big difference. Moments when the technical innovations we pursue at MICRORISC take a step back – and the need to show compassion, solidarity, and humanity comes to the forefront.
With humility and sincere joy, we joined this year’s Philanthropy Exchange (Burza filantropie) as a donor and proudly supported five exceptional projects that provide tangible support to people facing challenging life situations.
Under the leadership of our CEO, Ing. Vladimír Šulc, Ph.D., we selected initiatives that moved us with their authenticity, dedication, and clear impact. We are grateful to be part of something so meaningful.
Denní stacionář Klokan – Snoezelen: Improving Quality of Life through Sensory Therapy
The new multisensory Snoezelen room will help more than 50 individuals with disabilities and seniors find peace, reduce anxiety, and reconnect with the world around them. This therapy improves communication, focus, and brings moments of joy – a kind of help we didn’t hesitate to support.
Oblastní charita Červený Kostelec – Domovenka: So They Can Stay at Home
Each “Domovenka” represents one hour of rehabilitation for people with multiple sclerosis. It helps them retain independence and – most importantly – remain at home with their loved ones. This project touched us with its humanity and very practical impact. It helps keep families together, even in the hardest times.
Food Bank Hradec Králové – From the Kitchen to Life
Donating food is important – but teaching how to cook with it is one step further. The mobile kitchen project gives people in need the skills and confidence to prepare nutritious meals and take greater control of their lives. We are proud to contribute to this initiative that turns aid into opportunity.
Aspekt z.s. – From Virtual to Working Reality
This project opens new paths for people with disabilities to train for real jobs in a virtual, stress-free environment. Through interactive videos, clients can learn practical and soft skills safely and at their own pace. It’s a perfect example of technology used with empathy – a value MICRORISC deeply respects.
Apropo Jičín – Caregivers Deserve Care Too
Parents and caregivers often give everything they have – while neglecting their own needs. This project provides them with much-needed time to rest, share, and receive support from professionals. We were honored to support those who care for others, often silently and selflessly.
The Philanthropy Exchange reminded us that meaningful ideas, heartfelt stories, and real help are very much alive – and that it’s truly worth being part of it.
